I'm a motorcyle dealer, one of my most successful programs I sell customers is the Safe-Guard motorcycle tire/wheel agreement. As a seller and repair facility I have had no issues with them whatsoever. They have approved every claim I have submitted, with reimbursement received within 6 days. As a dealer I have found this to be a great program that has been huge benefit to several customers. Their claim process does require attention, but give them what they ask for and everything works out great.

no spam or insurance agents please...
i am new here. will be relocated to UK in September.
I have some experiences with health insurance. most of the companies are good.
I got people from manulife, great eastern, all claiming theirs is the best.
I understand insurance today is so competitive that its not the evaluation of the package but the reliability of the company and the people behind it...now that I'm relocating to Indonesia in less than 8 weeks,
a friend of mine who works there suggested that I switch to pallas global insurance cos of company policies
but I need your thoughts, especially those covered by them, these are their packages
http://www.pallasglobalhealth.com/Internet/pallas/
do you think this is my best option? please please suggest other insurance companies that work best for you
The hardest part is starting all over again.

Car insurance is not very exciting. Depending on which state you live in, it could be a smaller or larger piece of your budget than your neighbors across state lines.
How much insurance should you buy? Any insurance agent worthy of their salt will tell you that you should buy as much as you can afford. While this is a good rule of thumb, it is about as useful as a stockbroker’s tip to buy low and sell high. It might be sound logic but it does not get you any closer to an educated decision. A few filters need consideration in order to make that educated decision. First, what is the state required minimum coverage where you live? Second, what does the minimum cover? Third, what other coverage is available and can you afford it? Fourthly, what are you protecting?
I founded a great article. I hope it will useful. Good luck.

Hi,
I just bought a used car and was just sent the title in the mail. I talked to my boyfriend recntly and he doesn't understand how I am paying so little for my insurance with a non-owner or (non-driver's) insurance plan and that I have to carry an SR-22. I am thinking that I may have not done something right. I know that when you get your registration you must show proof of insurance, but is it that maybe the department doesn't know what kind of insurance I carry and it is up to me to have it switched over.
I guess this is a stupid question, but if it is the case, what do I do? Do I wait until my insurance catches up with Tallahassee with the division of Motor Vehicles or what?
Please no harsh words.
Thank You,
Clueless in Florida.

Your auto insurance is calculated based on many different factors and you can change things to keep your rates low. To get the best premiums and rates possible than you will need to understand how insurance is determined and what are the differences between companies.

There are a lot of different insurance policies you can choose form that all offer different types of coverage. Many times it can be difficult to know what is the best for your needs. Just make sure you have the minimum state coverage as each state will have its own coverage laws. Also think about where and who will be driving your car.

There are many different types of coverage that you can have and many people do not know what type of coverage is the best for their needs. You will have choices based on you deductibles, needs and even things such as uninsured motorist coverage. You should check with your local department of motor vehicles as each state has a required minimum coverage and you must meet this coverage if nothing else.

I recently wrote a blog entry talking about this since many people often ask me this question. The short answer is maybe, and it depends on your specific policy and your insurance carrier. You can read the full article here http://www.raygroupinsurance.com/insurance101/2010/05/15/if-someone-else-wrecks-my-car-is-it-covered/

For most people, at some point in life, they will own both a vehicle and a home at the same time. Combining home and auto insurance from one insurer will reduce the amount people pay on their monthly premiums for each type of insurance. Often they can save hundreds and even thousands of dollars a year. Many insurance experts estimate that consumers can save between 15% - 20% on their insurance costs when they combine their auto and home policies.

Most insurance providers now provide discounts to customers who buy both home and auto insurance together from their company. Not only will home insurance provide coverage for the home according to the details outlined in the policy, but a homeowner will also have auto coverage for their vehicle. Depending on their policy, this can include collision, liability, comprehensive...etc.

Now is a more important time than ever to find ways to save money on your car insurance. If you own a car you will be more than aware of the huge costs involved in addition from rising fuel prices, maintenance to repair costs. Car insurance is now the main day-to-day cost for many U.S. car owner, however you can cut your car insurance premiums by following the tips and advice in this post.

1. Choose Your Car Carefully Most of you will already own a car however for those who haven't yet purchased a car and those considering an upgrade it is always important to factor in costs involved in running the car especially the motor insurance premiums it is likely to attract. All cars are rated on a scale of 1 to 20; a Group 1 car would be a Ford Fiesta and at the other end of the scale, a BMW 5-Series M5 Group 20.

2. Location, Location...of your car After your car choice the next major factor that affects your premium is where you live. If you stay in a city it is the riskiest place for insurers therefore premiums are higher. Those living in or considering a move to the countryside can expect to see their car insurance premiums reduce by as much as half. You can receive a small discount for storing your car on your driveway or if is kept in a garage overnight you can expect a much bigger discount. It is also possible to get a discount on your car insurance premiums by agreeing to a limited annual mileage.

3. Protect Your No-Claims Discount Once you start to build your no-claims discount you can expect substantial discounts on your insurance premium and those who have several years no-claims can benefit from very cheap car insurance . If you lose your no-claims it is a disaster as insurance premiums will rise drastically however some insurance providers recognise even the most careful drivers can have bad luck and end up in an accident once in a while and offer a "protected discount", for a small charge, once you have reached the highest level of no claims discount.

4. Add Security You can use a steering wheel lock to protect your vehicle and give you peace of mind unfortunately though it won't reduce you car insurance premium. To bring down your premium you need to install a pukka immobiliser; which is of ‘Thatcham Category 1', the highest level of security. Its worth researching to see the impact on car insurance premiums however as it's expensive it may only be worth doing if you car is of high value.

5. Shop - Compare before buying car insurance. Car insurance is a highly competitive market and is available from a huge array of providers. The quickest and least stressful way to search the market is to use a comparison site which will allow you run a detailed search, giving you quotes from the car insurance providers without having to do the leg work yourself and allow you to compare in detail the offers and features of the different car insurance companies. A great place to get free quotes is www.insurancequotesinseconds.com where you will be able to get quotes from all major insurance companies and all you have to do is choose your state or enter your zip code. Taking just a few minutes to run a search can potentially save you hundreds of dollars on your car insurance!

Do not underestimate the power of these tips to help you save a few hundred dollars on your car insurance.
